Search

The Search tab navigates to the Search screen and is only visible to registrants assigned the roles of Administrator/User or User.  The screen allows an Administrator/User or User to search court records using criteria filters:

·       Last and First Name;

·       Date of Birth;

·       The last four digits of the individual’s Social Security Number (SSN); and

·       The Driver’s License Number and Driver’s License State.

Due to the sensitive nature of these records, for security purposes the VDBC enforces violations, bans, and consequent actions, when registrants violate the system’s Terms and Conditions of Use.  The following are not permitted to collect information:

1.     Using scripting software; or

2.     Entering data incrementally to determine any unknown information.

Criminal and Traffic Cases

The VDBC is only available to confirm adult criminal cases in the Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court, criminal and traffic cases in the General District Court and criminal and traffic cases in select Circuit Court case management systems. All fields indicated with a red asterisk (*) are required.
